We're also a modern family, from our hobbies to our values, currently schooling our three to learn the true history of this country and this world. It's not always a pretty picture, but there's beauty to be found amidst the rubble.

We were engaged for our senior year of high school, and this is a photo from the engagement session we had done by a friend of my mother's.
I was 17, he was 18, and most people would not approve.
But our parents knew us.
They saw the love that we had for each other, and they trusted us to know what we knew.
Yes I can confirm, birth control is not 100% effective!
But I wouldn't change our outcome for the world.
And she has been the light of it ever since!

It's been just us 3 for years, and now number 2 is on the way, so right now we are just enjoying us.
We live in Washington which is beautiful and insane at the same time.
I definitely suggest it for vacations if you love trees and outdoorsy things.
